COACHES Registration
Coaches has to do BOTH, register and do a Background check that is good for 2 YEARS to coach USATF. It is a requirement before stepping foot on the track. The Background check is totally separate from the registration and it has to be done after the registration is complete. It takes about 3 to 5 Days for the background check to be completed.
SafeSport is an added piece to registering for USATF coaches. For now on, in order for Coaches to have Limited Liability Insurance covered by USATF, all coaches will have to complete the USOC SafeSport course. The certification will only need to be taken every 4 years.
